A Reedy River Tale
Meet the mermaid
Sun on the water, sand between the scales and a song for every turtle.

A Reedy River Tale
Lagoon loved to race. She raced the dolphins, the waves and once, by mistake, her own shadow.
1One day an old sea turtle asked her for a race across the lagoon. Lagoon tried not to laugh.
2Off she zoomed! She was so far ahead that she stopped to sing with the seahorses.
3Then she stopped to count starfish. Then to nap in a patch of sunshine, just for a minute.
4When she woke up, the turtle was waiting at the finish line, humming her favourite song.
5Now they race every week, side by side, very slowly, singing the whole way across.
